Zip, Nissen is a person who abides by his own personal agenda, the
truth be damned. Much like Judge Du who could care less about either
the law or legal precedent, all that matters is that the "political
agenda" be followed. The problem with Nissen is that his word is taken
as gospel by many followers, and if he ignores the very real science
that tells us Vascepa works and that mineral oil was a benign placebo,
then very real people will have bad consequences from following his
advise. Nissen is no longer a doctor or a scientist but a driven
and flawed "company man" who will stick to an agenda that best serves
his own or his companies (BP?) interests.

AMRN needs the political "protection" of a BP with the gravitas to
insure the company gets a fair shake in a compromised world. When
Adam Feuerstein wrote that John Thero should sell AMRN he did so with
a veiled threat...that AMRN was now playing on BP Cardiovascular turf.
AMRN will need protection when dealing in Europe as well as in China.
By now I hope AMRN's BOD understands this and is working on ultimately
being acquired, being careful to do the best deal possible. GIA
without a BP BO is idiocy at the highest level.
