jf. believe you posted that you recently suffered an MI..

Can you comment on whether they "stented " you and what changes you have made re meds and lifestyle.

This is the Readers Digest version (Yeah, I'm old).

I've been on OV 500 since 1/15 for arthritis relief. 7/15 I obtained a script for V. The OV 500 is around the house because the wife (Parkinsons) uses it for arthritis relief too. We get too many bottles, I switch over V to OV 500 for a month.

In the process of making dinner onna Friday evening this May, I got hit in the chest with a wet sack of sand. I finished making dinner, got the wife set up, and called a LYFT. At the ER they confirmed I was having a heart attack. I had one vein 100% blocked and two more 95% blocked. They stented the one vein and put off the others until Monday. My numbers @ that time were

Troponin 30.1
T Chol 147
T G 149
HDL 31
LDL 86

A1c
Est Av Glu 105
HGBA1c 5.3%

I got two more stents on Monday and w/ Covid patients in the ICU, they moved me to a regular ward that night. I got dressed inna morning and they road tested their work on the way down to the lobby and out the door. Ain't been back since. I have learned that I should have fallen over from the HA and dialed 911 from the floor. Maybe next time. Probably not. They have yet to do a post HA eval, but damage appeared to be surprisingly light. Yee Hah.

I'm on
Atorvastatin 80 mg
Pantoprazole 40 mg
Clopidogrel 75 mg
Lisinopril 5 mg
Metoprolol Succ 25 mg
Aspirin 81 mg

and of course, V @ $20 for two months delivered.

Lifestyle sucks. The wife's medication cycle is 3 hours and I'm stuck within earshot 24 hrs except for grocery runs and I'm averaging around 5 Hrs sleep/night split in the middle and not much exercise. She's 25 lbs down from 125. I cook nutrient rich foods for both of us. Last year I bought myself an El Mondo Grosso High Zoot Ne Plus Ultra HX espresso machine and I will not give up my coffee.

The day I had the heart attack was the day I got the all clear from the surgeon who did my disc fusion to go back to riding motorcycles. Stress level is high and I will be engaging in Hydrocarbon Therapy to help hold it together. I will be choosing between a 1290 GT KTM and an Aprilia Tuono Factory to keep my spirits up and I'll be making arrangements for help w/ the wife soon.

Do not attempt to copy this way of life at home. It is not recommended by anyone with a modicum of sense. I'm a blockhead and I've had a lifetime of experience at this and if AMRN had stayed above $19, all of the above would look different.
