Personally, I liked the idea that DI was aggravated.

If I wasn't busy working on something or very little and members of this message board were calling me up I would not sound aggravated.

Maybe filled with excuses coming out one after another.
Maybe a planned speech

I definitely would not say - Will you just let us do our job.

I can stand corrected but that did not sound like nothing was happening within their office.

Or just maybe it was the number of calls and emails LOL
