This is actually significant. Political. Economic. Cultural. However one might view Elon Musk and his Tesla car business, if anything, he pushed the envelope.

Now we are at a juncture that Malcom Gladwell, author of the Tipping Point, would characterize as a tipping point.

We know it will require capital. How much?

The bidding begins at a trillion, as measured in US dollars, in order to convert the planetary fleet with engines powered by hydrocarbons resources that pollute the stratospehre to motors powered by metals resources that form ionic bonds that only emit heat.
