I have 3 bugling discs but on top of that Tarlov Cysts. 8-10 % of the population have them and don’t even know it. They are mainly found by mistake when looking at other issues on MRI. Mine lead to shooting nerve pain throughout my back, hips and legs. Most Dr.’s don’t like to discuss because they don’t know that much about them and they are not an easy fix and surgery is only recommended in severe cases. Gabapentin and Actipatch work for me and I have no side effects.
