F.Y.I. to everyone:

Protheragen is what is known as a Contract Research Organization (CRO). Companies like this play a support role to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries in the form of research services outsourced to them on a contract basis.

Their role is to facilitate and manage the product development processes of these types of companies on many levels in the overall scope of getting pharmaceuticals or medical devices to market which commonly includes designing, launching, and overseeing clinical trials, but it can also extend to the FDA regulatory and licensing aspects as well.

Some CROs are full service and some are not. Some conduct clinical trials in-house at their own facility and others place clinical trials at various Medical Centers throughout the country that have a dedicated Patient Research Center Unit.

I'm very familiar with this topic due to my professional background as a clinical investigator that interfaced with both CROs and Big Pharma Companies placing candidate drugs trials at Medical Centers where I was based.

Apparently BioClonetics hired Protheragen some time ago to outsource the clinical trials process of their Clone-3 Ab which would explain the reason why much information is now available about it.

What I discern with Protheragen in the picture is BioClonetics is much further along in their drug development process than previously thought, i.e. they have already transitioned to clinical trials via this CRO. I could be wrong but nothing else would make sense due to the exclusive patent BC has on Clone-3. However it's important to keep in mind that in the pharmaceutical drug development industry, commonly "pilot studies" are conducted on a limited basis before advancing to much larger patient trials.

I hope this helps.

Be well and prosper...
