Yes, but they were not issued. Only approved in the by laws.

That did 2 things, that limited how many preferred shares could used / issued with a shareholder meeting and corporate by laws change.

And told us how many could used/issued some day of Preferred shares.

They not common shares. So this news has no real effect on the common share share price or number of common shares in the OS or the 292,000 share float.

But it does show continued last minute updates before the Big coming out party SEC filing.

Preferred shares are used to protect investors putting assets into a firm that have priority over common shareholders in case of BK, and they do not affect the common share count that is trade-able, and sell-able in the float. It protects investors that have no plan to sell any time soon, that have assets to put into a firm, and keeps the common share count and float lower.

Market cap does not use preferred shares in the market cap calculation either.
