Bar, I remember when Buffett bought BYD years ago, and when it had its IPO in the US. It zoomed, then crashed, and eventually worked its way back up. Now electric cars are 'the future', so it's a market darling again.

I had some NIO this year, in at 13, out at 19, so a quick 40% gain. Only now it's almost 50 (!), so missed the boat on that one. I keep seeing negative articles on NIO, but the stock just keeps chugging higher.

I figure the safer way to participate in the sector is via the various ETFs available. Just buy and hold -
