Lrich, John Thero never impressed me to begin with. He reminds me of the
"Cowardly Lion" in the Wizard of Oz. The man is tone deaf, understands
nothing about leadership, and I blame the AMRN BOD for not removing him
a long time ago. What I can't figure out is why he hasn't yet sold the
company as he would be a major beneficiary. Instead, he is a "serial
seller" of stock from which one can surmise he sees no value in holding
it. By NOT having sold AMRN to BP he is harming Cardiovascular patients
as the poorer job he does (such as not finding a way to combat generic
Lovaza or the generic Vascepa threat) the greater the number of patients
who would not benefit. At best John Thero is an embarrassment, at worse his
incompetence results in many more Cardiovascular deaths and other bad
events directly from his stupidity in managing AMRN.
