This isn't factually true. there are things investors can do to get around these restrictions put forth by these brokers. More over by implementing this policy it is in violation of state law and I am fighting my broker on this issue and awaiting a reply from E*trades legal team.

Omni has some other more pressing things pending that supercede this issue. According to Andrew.
