VOIP5000 Announces Plans to Enter Social Networking Space With Audio Blogging Application

PROVIDENCE, RI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/03/07 -- VOIP5000, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VPFI), a provider of click to call services under the Clixme name as well as other VoIP applications for online businesses, announced today that it has begun development of a new social networking blogging service that will allow users to post audio recordings to their blogs in real time. This new service will leverage the company's VOIP technologies to deliver the new service.

The premise of the service is to allow users to call the service with their telephone or cell phone, record a message, and instantly have it posted to their blog. Users will be provided with a small snippet of code that they add to their blog which enables the real time availability of their recordings. The service will be compatible with all of the major blog and social networking sites including News Corp's MySpace.com and Google's Blogger.com.
