DD and view on ALPP depends on how you conduct DD. Based on the analogy you have given you would probably never invested in Amazon or Tesla. Both companies had horrible Debt to Equity and Income ratios when they started. Why because it took enormous cash and expense to build their business model. Which is the same for ALPP. People that are long have big picture on the company, and it’s business model of DSF. They tend to see a huge opportunity to own part of a company that is based on what made the United States great. Which is buying the American greatness of small and micro cap companies and the effort it takes to bring them into the public model.

People are short on ALPP usually base their hypothesis on balance sheet.

I disagree that these are negatives and understand that these views based on misunderstanding the balance sheet and them not seeing the big picture.
