playing blackjack and this one time a person
sat down with the idea he was only going to play
for himself regardless of how much money others
were playing.
So in another words: He was not a team player.
Just out for himself.
Example: FIRST HAND:
Player gets a total of 13. Dealer has a 6.
Common sense says to "play by the book" so
you hold and let the dealer bust.
But what does the idiot do?
Takes the card. Why??? Because their reasoning
was to try to get a 21. ARE YOU CRAZY?!?
So he took the dealers 10 card.
And of course, the dealer turns over a 9 which
gave them 15 but instead of having the players
card which would have busted them the dealer
turns over Another 6 which gave them 21!
Needless to say, PEOPLE WERE PISSED and
got up and walked away.
The "Player" HAD NO STRATEGY because they
had no idea what they were doing in the first place!
Moral of the story:
If you don't know how to play THAT GAME then
don't sit down at the table and screw everyone
else over.
I mean that's just one example of how not thinking
for the good of a certain outcome not only hurts
others but can hurt yourself too because they all
ended up losing that time.
