I have just spoken to Dave about SITC, and he has very clearly confirmed that there will not be a poster or an abstract at SITC. The deadline for that particular conference was on October 15th, which is 20 days ago, and far too close to the data lock date for them to have prepared any sort of poster or abstract for this trial.

Investigators will often put multiple place holders at multiple conferences in the event that they will use one or more of them as an opportunity to present something. This is VERY COMMON. This is VERY NORMAL. And when the investigator does not submit anything for a particular placeholder by the deadline date, the place holder is supposed to drop. Didn't LL herself, have like 10 or so placeholders at SNO, that later dropped?

So the fact that the company does not have a poster or an abstract at SITC has absolutely nothing to do with their eventual presentation of the top line data. Nothing.

So to be clear, anyone at SITC stating there is an abstract that will show up on Monday is incorrect.

And there will likely also be other placeholders to find in the coming weeks and months. But what we as shareholders should pay attention to are those conferences or events that Northwest publicly alerts shareholders to. The company cannot be tethered to something that they've not publicly stated themselves.

Thanks Dan, for your supportive post. :)
