Shttberg has run this scam as an inside deal to the simonfraud group all along IMO. DO we even KNOW about how many 'offers' shttberg has had? Probably not.
All that said, IF jones were to get real and run a FAIR, OPEN auction, eveyone knows that the pitiful $1.75b or whatever simon is supposedly paying would be blown away.
