The myth that hard rock hydroxide is always lower cost than brine has been repeated by those with a vested interest for so long many are unaware it is nonsense. On the other hand, the currently operating South American brine projects that produce carbonate are ALL lower cost than all carbonate converted from hard rock. An inconvenient truth.
