Title: Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease by Transposition of the Omentum

Abstract
Foreword: Transposition of the Omentum refers to surgically extracting Omentum from the abdomen and laying it over top of effected brain tissue where Cerebral Blood Flow is known to be diminished based on MRI-Radiological Tomography. Omentum refers to a large apron-like fold of highly vascularized visceral peritoneum containing a network of blood vessels rich in nutrients that hangs down from the stomach.
There is increasing evidence that cerebral hypo-perfusion (low blood flow) plays a key role in the development of Alzheimer's disease (AD).
As everyone ages, cerebral blood flow (CBF) decreases in direct proportion to the normal aging process. Coupled with this expected drop in Cerebral Blood Flow with aging, are a host of other factors that impact this process such as hypertension, stress, smoking, diabetes, cholesterol buildup, etc., all of which are associated with further decrease blood flow to the brain.
Maintaining a critical level of CBF is essential if adequate amounts of oxygen and glucose are to be presented to brain neurons to sustain their cellular energy production of ATP. ATP is the body's primary source of cellular metabolism and energy production for normal metabolic function and cellular survival in all tissues and organs of the body.
If Cerebral Blood drops below a critical level, insufficient ATP will be produced and, if this situation is not corrected, neurons will deteriorate and eventually die. This describes the primary aging process, neurological decline, and the factors in play that lead to the onset of Alzheimer's Disease (AD).
When a critical mass of neurons die in areas of the brain involved with cognition and memory, (AD) will result.
Omentum transposition to the brain is a surgical procedure by which a large volume of blood and other biological agents can be delivered to the brain over an indefinite period of time.
The Omentum has been proven to support to deteriorating neurons in brain tissue, and furthermore its physical presence directly laid upon the brain itself has shown to produce significant reversal of Alzheimer's Symptoms.
Additionally, Omentum transposition to the brain can markedly reduce senile plaque accumulation.
Omental transposition therefore may play an important role in the future treatment of Alzheimer's Disease, especially in early and moderate cases.
I believe this research article speaks volumes for itself AND it has been CONFIRMED by MANY others over the past several years.
