Deliberative Rhetoric at its absolute worst. Shameful.

"...suicides(kids included) are way up..."
Suicide in children has been on the rise for about 13 or so years (and a considerable increase).
Link, CDC Link, Kid's increase related to Social Media?
The inference was suggested that the rise is due to Covid. Got something to back that up?

"The lockdowns/masks and all these stupid policies..."
More opinion based on... well... what, exactly?
National Institute of Health says otherwise on lockdowns, as does The Lancet, and it seems it's not just Covid that lockdowns help with. CDC tells us masks help. The UCSF spells it out for you in simple terms.

"I have looked at the studies on the masks, I don't just talk on my opinions!"
It wouldn't take more than a minute to link those same studies, so we can read them too. Please let them be reputable.

"Game cafes are the most unsafe, disease-spreaders around..."
More opinion here. Nothing to back it up. No discussion on the measures that games cafes are taking to reduce the spread of Covid. Snakes has already posted the measures it's taking to help with the spread of the virus, including partitions and the cleaning and storage of the games in between uses. In fact I'd go as far as to say that door handles in public areas are a more effective way of spreading germs. Maybe you could start criticising the brick and mortars that use those?

"Susan needs to SHUT IT DOWN yett [sic] again!!! Save lives - SHUT IT DOWN."
The cafes do NOT need to close. In fact Susan et al should be commended for going the extra mile to make sure they are as clean and safe as they can be to allow patrons to visit and enjoy time OUT of the house. Besides, based on other comments, lockdowns—and shutting down Snakes would support that—don't work.

Getting extremely bored of people blaming blaming Covid for keeping us closed and operating at a loss, at the same time as saying we should close due to Covid, at the same time as saying masks and lockdowns don't work, so really why bother with any of the precautions?

Covid adversely affects EVERY public-facing company (and by that I mean those brick and mortars that rely on clients coming in to the premises, if that needs spelling out). Snakes is doing its best to help mitigate the spread without resorting to a shut down. KUDOS, Snakes!

And enough of the unsupported rhetoric around Covid. It's not helping anyone.

What do we NEED to do? We NEED to be real. Wearing masks does help. If it didn't, a perfectly healthy surgeon wouldn't need one when he operated. Shutdowns do help, if everyone would stop getting excited about thinking they have lost one of their constitutional rights, and just follow the guidelines. Let's face it, if we had shut down 100% for a month some time back, chances are we wouldn't be talking about this right now in the same context.
