I want to start off by saying HUGE THANKS for sharing your medical knowledge on this board.

Do the patients treated with DCVax-L also get chemo in the beginning stages?

If not, I think an overlooked benefit is not only the overall survival rate, but the quality of life during the treatment process. I have had friends who have gone through chemo and the life they had post cancer diagnosis have been miserable, save for those who made it through and became cancer free. As I understand it, there's negligible side effects with a DCVax-L treatment.
