raf, forgot where I recently read it, maybe here, but Newman is highly regarded by the SC. I would think a fiery dissent that brings to light the total disregard for previous Supreme Court precedent may get their attention. Hopefully we get at least that, because our best shot is a settlement followed distantly by the SC taking up the cause. That being said, if the SC takes up the cases, this will most likely get reversed. Generally speaking, they don't take up cases from the FC to affirm them.
