You're very correct, my sister is fighting for her life with a cancer that was gone for nearly 10 years. She had actually had a final visit with her Oncologist who thought she was fine when a scan done in a physical exam with a new Dr. turned up the problem which did identify to the original cancer in a completely different location. I contacted the company about DCVax-Direct, which I believe could be of benefit, but it's not available until they move forward with another trial.

Our lives don't come with a guarantee, I believe medical strides are being made, but with each step forward we learn how much more complex we are. Back in my college days in the 1960's two things were supposed to be certain by 2000, our power would come from fusion, and cancer would be cured. Clearly we don't understand how complex the problems really are.
