Apple was responsible for the legal fees in the prosecution of Kang. (see below)

You need to trade in your Mensa membership card for a calculator.

I'm thinking the litigation on that was probably less than 20-30K, max, of legal fees. She's probably at 650-750/hour or so and I can't see her time being over 200 hours (probably much less). Add in the partners' hours and you're probably looking at a max of 30K.

That's $130k on the low side. Not $20k-$30k.

From the Master Transaction Agreement of 2010 between Apple and LQMT:

LMT-SPE Patent Prosecution.
(a)
Apple shall have the sole and exclusive right, in the United States and other jurisdictions around the world, to control patent prosecution for inventions, current and future patent applications and patents included within the LMT Technology. Patent prosecution activities include, without limitation:
...
(b)
Apple shall bear the cost of all patent prosecution and maintenance for inventions, current and future patent applications and patents included within the LMT Technology, including, without limitation, patent counsel legal fees and patent office fees and maintenance and annuity fees (collectively "Prosecution and Maintenance Costs")
