LQMT can use Eon's patents!!!

Big deal if LQMT can use the patents. Read the PLA and see exactly what LQMT got by way of Eontec Patents, and search the USPTO for Eontec's patents. We got very little other than money.

“Eontec Licensed Patents” shall mean any and all Patents of Eontec or any Affiliate of Eontec in existence as of the Effective Date, including without limitation those listed in Appendix B, and those Patents of Eontec or any Affiliate thereof for any invention that is first created, conceived, or reduced to practice during the period beginning on the Effective Date and ending of the last day of the Joint Development Period.

(See PLA, section 1.8, https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1141240/000143774916027548/ex10-2.htm)

So, at the time the PLA went into effect, the patents were listed in Appendix b. There are a total of six patents listed in Appendix b.

1 - CN103789770 - Chemical polishing technology and polishing solution for surface of bulk amorphous and nanocrystalline alloy
2 - CN105154794 - Amorphous alloy with antibacterial function
3 - CN105220083 - Corrosion resistant amorphous alloy and preparation method and application
4 - CN105220085 - High strength amorphous alloy and preparation method and application
5 - 201510780752.9 - High toughness amorphous composite material and preparation method and application
6 - CN105239024 - High hardness amorphous composite material and preparation method and application

(See PLA, Exhibit b.) All of the above patents were owned by Eontec or an entity called Meon.

The PLA also said that patents "for any invention that is first created, conceived, or reduced to practice during the period beginning on the Effective Date and ending of the last day of the Joint Development Period." In other words, inventions after the PLA went into effect would also be included in the PLA. A search of the USPTO shows that there are 4 patents issued to Eontec.

1 - 10,751,792 - Continuous precision forming device and process for amorphous alloy
2 - 10,724,126 - High hardness amorphous composite and preparation method and application thereof
3 - 10,293,405 - Casting and molding equipment and method of manufacturing amorphous alloy structural unit
4 - 9,896,753 - Bulk amorphous alloy Zr--Cu--Ni--Al--Ag--Y and methods of preparing and using the same

Patent number 4 was filed in the US in 2015, which is before the PLA went into effect. Patent 4 was not listed in Appendix b, and it was not invented after the PLA went into effect. Consequently, it is dubious that patent 4 is licensed to LQMT. Furthermore, patent 4 is assigned to INSTITUTE OF METAL RESEARCH, CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES and Eontec. It is doubtful that the INSTITUTE OF METAL RESEARCH, CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES has agreed to license their IP to LQMT.

So, it appears that there might be all of three patents licensed to LQMT. Any of the patents listed in Appendix b that do not correspond to the four U.S. Patents can be used by anyone in the U.S.

Rally around LQMT. The serious investors shall be blessed and will hear the word of Li being directly communicated, almost miraculously, to them. Amen.
