answer: why sell then re-buy in assuming this is the case or is already the case? Simple
Assume I sold @0007+ and i re-buy in this equates to a larger ownership of shares. It also would allow tax losses and allows me to average down.

Im an honest guy just ask I tell it like it is I have nothing to hide.
~ I also have a big tax debt it's actually x2 my annual income and the write off is actually to My benefit because it's 5+ yrs out at a decrease of -3000 annually.
