Yes your two principles are sound and Skitahoe’s suggestion to peel off the shares to be sold over multiple sales as the share price increases is also sound. I picked up my early shares starting at $3 and kept buying up to $12+, but ultimately got my break even to $.75. I think if the sp goes to above $3 that’s when I’ll think hard about peeling some of my cost basis out, but honestly how things feel at that time might affect what I’ll actually do. Regardless, this is a nice “problem” to have.
