I fully agree with that assessment. The seed money that would come along with an investment from a Tier 1 would never come free of charge. Tier 1's have smart business development teams that would only invest if the smaller company signs agreements to marry themselves to the Tier 1.

That is why you see companies like Intel Capital invest $20 million in an Israeli startup and then two years later that same startup gets acquired by Intel. That isn't an accident. The startup agreed to sell their company to Intel on the same day they took the $20 million.

All I'm saying is that the lack of outside investment could be viewed as a good indicator that Lebby knows what he is doing to maximize long term value.
