I believe that 100% of the Earths energy THAT ENTERS THE ATMOSPHERE comes from the sun. I have not found anything that refutes this. I have spent time on the NASA website and cannot find anything. The earths atmosphere and magnetic field protect us from these rays. Astronauts that leave our atmosphere are subjected to this radiation and have a higher risk of cancer due to this.

If you have a link to post that does refute this I would seriously like to read it.
