We have communicated the issue with GMEI Utility, and they have indicated that the legal entity didn’t come back to renew the LEI record nor inform them regarding the name change so far, therefore the LEI’s legal name is still the outdated one and the LEI’s status is LAPSED. They have indeed conducted a systematic update in July 2020 to the Entity Legal Form code of the LEI due to a change introduced by a new version of the ELF List published by GLEIF.

However, based on the information you have provided, we requested GMEI to validate the Legal Name of the LEI and make necessary changes to the LEI as soon as possible.
