You should ask the question of what would make the CEO inform a conference that TLD was expected by end of September yet she made this statement knowing that Data Lock had not yet been achieved or even given to statisticians as of yesterday. Yesterdays PR was an appeasement at best but does not guarantee that work towards TLD has even started.
If the company were forthright then a timeline to TLD would have been expected along with a hard data lock and assurance that work had begun on the data. We are still very much in the dark as to when TLD will actually occur.
This may be all part of some elaborate plan because the communication has definitely reverted back to type and is designed once again to confound.
