After the carnival barker made all those promises and took the money from those people who reached into their pockets to share in the dream of anti viral research going in so many directions, so promising, with federal money- after taking their money after all those big words that was it-

on to other topics just like the grant never existed. Like the June 11 speech was never made. Like it was just a dream. And if people wanted answers, well, there were new promises to talk about and you could buy into that too if you did not want to be left behind.

The carnival barker was no fool, but he realized that others were, and you could take their money and never even have to answer the simplest questions about big talk from 4 months ago...

What grant? Let's talk about a trial, how about that instead...I have got some more shares and you can be a part of this therapeutic revolution.
