Proactively, I have reached out to a few local pharmacies and was told that Wholesalers are reaching out to these pharmacies, telling them that they can pre-order generic Vascepa now in anticipation of arrival at the end of November. IMO, this is direct marketing from Hikma to wholesalers.

If we can get a copy of that message, Amarin can use it to their advantage in future proceedings (already verified this to be true).

Why else would wholesalers be reaching out to pharmacies? My guess is only because Hikma reached out to wholesalers, marketing the generic.

I encourage everyone to call their pharmacy and ask them about any communication they have received from their wholesalers about generic Vascepa. If at all possible (if very friendly with a pharmacist), please obtain documented evidence.

I do not have a close relationship, so I could not get much. Hoping you guys are different.

Ask them what their plans are. Do they plan on ordering only the generic or will they still stock brand Vascepa?
