LOL! Absolutely not! A core value of conservatism is that you don't want to empower government by having a massive and (mostly) corrupt deep state.

What I meant (and I agree with hopster in this) that sometimes, some agencies are less likely to play political games. I think that given the severity of the crisis, and the fact that the people involved are physicians and medical scientists with a reputation for integrity to maintain, they're less likely to suppress a much needed medication.

In other words, they're not as susceptible to corruption as purely political appointees.
