Who'da thought?

Most companies fail because of bad management, not bad science.

Oh, good management, then, can overcome bad science? Good "management" can cause participants in proper clinical trials to produce good, favorable outcomes, for prospective drugs that otherwise would not; drugs lacking real science?

This is good. We already know about "the placebo effect," where people believe that the "drug" they are taking, even though it's just a disguised starch pill, will actually change the course or symptoms of their disease. Hope and belief over actual biochemistry.

Now, it's the "corporate leadership effect." Good corporate leadership, especially in laying out precise dates of drug development, can cause clinical trial results to be both timely and positive, regardless of any underlying science.

Good to know. If blarcamesine fails all three of the on-going clinical trials, I'll now know the problem. The science of blarcamesine is irrelevant. The controlling factor is "the corporate leadership effect," so lacking in Anavex Life Sciences Corp.

Does the FDA take any of this in consideration? They decidedly take into account the placebo effect. But, "the corporate leadership effect?" How many otherwise good drugs aren't available because the good corporate leadership effect wasn't in effect during their trials, causing bad clinical results?
