Wynn Poker Room reopening on Sept. 30, 8 players allowed per table

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Wynn Poker Room will be reopening on Wednesday, Sept. 30, the resort announced over social media Thursday night.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests back to the Poker Room,” said Ryan Beauregard, executive director of poker operations at Wynn Las Vegas. “Our team is looking forward to delivering the same exceptional poker experience Wynn has always been known for in a safe and enjoyable environment for all.”

Plexiglass dividers and social distancing guidelines with a maximum of eight players per table will be observed, resort officials said.

The Poker Room will also see a reduced number of tables within to ensure adequate distancing.

Wynn Resort said hand sanitizer stations will be available on each table and through cleaning will take place after each game.

As the state continues to see a significant decline in new coronavirus cases including in southern Nevada, more reopenings are taking place on the Las Vegas Strip.
