Decide what is a good value to hold any stock before you buy them and when it is overvalued, unless you are convinced it will run much higher, lighten up or close it out. It is much easier to decide when not under pressure of a big drop. Also, have a Plan B. in case the market does not drop. Maybe sector rotation also. Nibble into sectors that will do well if the economy will recover, I was nibbling into restaurants, travel stocks. Also sectors that do well when the economy comes out of a recession.
