I suspect my firm pays Verisign everytime it uses their digital certificates. It's the end user. Lark has always pointed me towards Symantec or other annuity software services as a reasonable model. EDS makes money through people time mainly. But they would be a licenser of Wave's services passing on the cost to their customers.And they would try to get wave to charge as little as possible as their total fees are constrained.
