Insiders are not allowed to buy within a certain time frame of unannounced events that could affect the SP, unless it was scheduled prior to the insider knowledge.

So now that the acquisition is done and the news is out, what’s stopping them now?

And why aren’t the stock options based on performance? That they’ll only be awarded when certain revenue levels are reached, like most companies do rather then rewarding themselves based on just because they can?
