News Release is out on Sedar and yes folks it is official Mountainstar has won the right of a full appeal. So seems that the BCSC was lying and might have some explaining to do. It would seem that the CTO was alittle misguided. I wonder how long it will take for MSX to start trading again. I would say it looks like the very near future.

MOUNTAINSTAR WINS LEAVE TO APPEAL
September 17, 2020 – Vancouver, BC - Mountainstar Gold Inc. (“the Company” or
“Mountainstar” or “MSX”) is pleased to report that leave to appeal the April 9. 2019 decision from
the BC Securities Commission (BCSC) against both Mountainstar and Brent Johnson was granted,
by the British Columbia Court of Appeal, on September 11th, 2020 after a hearing on September
3
rd, 2020.
On April 9, 2019 the British Columbia Securities Commission issued a decision against both the
Company and Brent Johnson, in which the Commission granted a permanent cease trade order
against Mountainstar, and also ordered, amongst other things, a permanent ban against Brent
Johnson from ever being a director or officer of any issuer.
In the judgment issued on September 11, 2020 in regard to the Leave to Appeal Hearing of
September 3, 2020, the 11-page decision, based on a very extensive Motion Book exceeding well
over 600 pages, the Court, the Honourable Madam Justice DeWitt-Van Oosten, ruled as follows:
“The applicants seek leave to appeal findings by the British Columbia Securities Commission
that they made false and misleading statements and the sanctions imposed for that conduct.
Held: Leave to appeal is granted. The applicants have raised substantial questions of
procedural fairness for which review by this Court is in the interests of justice.”
To clarify, later in the document, the Judge states:
“After considering these factors in light of the record before me, I am satisfied it is in the
interests of justice that the applicants be granted leave to appeal.”
The leave to appeal was granted, without limitation, and covers all issues with respect to the ruling
on liability and penalty, by the BCSC decisions.

conducting the appeal, Mr. Rocco Galati at 416-530-9684, or at rocco@idirect.com.
