That is a great question, louieblouie. There has to be an Amicus plaintiff. It can be an individual, an group of individuals, or an organization. My thinking right now is a group of individuals from this Board, consisting of anyone who wishes to have their name included.

The (rough!) statement of interest is something along the lines of:

"Amicus are individual retail Amarin shareholders who are gravely concerned that an innovative company with a revolutionary drug proven to dramatically reduce cardiovascular disease, has been unfairly undermined under false and fraudulent pretenses, not only to the detriment of Amarin and its shareholders, but also to the detriment of millions of cardiovascular patients."

While walking my six dogs this morning, I came up with a potential organization name and acronym:

"Amarinians Seeking Satisfaction Honestly Organized Leadership Engaged Shareholders"

"ASSHOLES"
