I don’t want this to be the case but I’ve seen more then once, companies go delinquent to stop note conversions. Two that I know of very recently are PCTL and VSYM. No conversions while delinquent and then dilution starts when current.

I think these guys went dark to stop dilution and try to come up with alternative funding.
