I plan to move in a couple of years.

I like living in the hinterlands but miss the cultural and entertainment opportunities availabl in the big city.

I would like to settle into a town about 30-40 miles from Los Angeles so that I'd be relatively close yet away from the muck of life in the city.

I was also thinking about Tucson, Arizona.
