The EVAPORATE trial does calcified palque changes of borderline significance but the trend is all in teh right direction. I believe the trial didn't have enough time show the reduction which will likely be demonstarted at extended follow up eg 2-3 years...All the more dynmaic fast changing palque elements are favorable affected by Vascepa eg fatty low attenuarion fibrous, fibro-fatty etc....There will be undoubtedly a bonanza of data regarding this specifically at the next AHA meeting in November ..
