CEO posted "Coretec's IP Portfolio' on blog. CEO spoke about Coretec's strengthened IP position through a built portfolio on a series of the chs patents & provisional patents around chs technology. That Coretec did a thorough patent landscape. To make sure that there was no patent infringement. He went on to talk about the patent application process. First with the provisional patent to protect the filing date & log IP with the patent office. From there you have 12 months to refine & expand on the claims of the IP. Then a full patent application is required within 6 months or else lose filing date with the patent office. The patent office then publishes a patent application after 6 months. Coretec filed a provisional patent for chs synthesis in March 2019 . They filed for a full patent application a year later in March 2020. In June 2020 a provisional patent was applied for a new LED design using chs. A new LED structure which Coretec intends on filing a full patent for this technology before June 2021. CEO went on to say that its important that these provisional patents, coretec's ideas, secrets & IP are kept confidential until a full patent is completed to protect the technology. It's a strategic move for coretec to stay competitors from filling patents around coretec's ideas limiting commercial potential.
So there maybe a full patent next year. That is if all goes well.....
