in the video says no way to attach tags to keychain or anything else like pets/sports equipment etc without a pouch that in typical apple money making fashion is sold separately

so on a key chain uwb signal would always be blocked on one side unless the metal is rf transparent

apple could have made both sides plastic but then the plastic side with charging coils might melt/discolor when induction charging the battery
