All this boild down to this... Once you reach 3 years, you are highly likely to be a long term survivor. So most of those 70-80 alive in November should still be alive today



Yes, I believe that there were 70-80 alive during November 2018 and that was 22 months ago.

Since the midpoint enrollment took place during May 2014, we are now about 79 months past the midpoint surgery which may have taken place three months earlier, during February 2014.

We still have about 9 months to go before we arrive at the 88.2 months post surgery time which according to the May 29, 2018 JTM publication estimate, is the time when only 50% of the post 36 months survivors would still be alive.

That fact coupled with the superior survival capacity displayed by the last cohort of about 108 patients, suggests to me that perhaps 60% of the 93 post 36 months survivors or about 56 patients are still with us today. To be more realistic, I would settle for a range of 50-60 present day survivors.
