There are any number of reasons why the current BOD is not keeping investors updated as to progress. The most obvious reason is they are not doing anything that might be called progress. To date they have not filed audited financials for review with the regulator, and they have not done anything to correct the warning and dark and defunct notices with OTC Markets. They still are dark with the SEC.

I know the real reason why they are silent. I have the facts behind the silence, facts that cannot be denied. It really is as simple as that.

Much of the information posted on Atacama is sentiment and is not based on skill or luck but mostly bull, designed to take the mick out of investors, keeping them out of touch with the real reason(s) behind the stocks poor performance and their seeming inability to even get the smallest tasks accomplished, at all, never mind on time. So many shareholders waiver on their sentiment, like a repo man coming to take the car away that has not been paid for, Atacama shareholders, not being kept up to date by management are glad to see the car gone, then they want it back and another car, then they hate the car and vow to walk. A tattered flag in the breeze is the current sentiment for Atacama. Sentiment, marauding the board as fact is all that is left. Glenn Grant walked (by one account close to Glenn he sold all his shares as did others), Spivak walked, and the company is no further along than this time last year. Last spring was boots on the ground then summer drilling, then fall, then winter, then spring, then summer and here we hare a scant ten days from fall and still nothing.

It is time for management to adopt a new strategy, the goldschläger ambient background disseminator optical gold mass spectography which may show traces of gold flakes once the withdrawn ground fluids are put into the centrifuge to separate the gold flakes from the liquid.
