Nobody knows on the outside. That was yesterday's conversation where I suggested perhaps some convertible shares that had been sat on for some time by an investor are now being sold onto the public market to liquidate so they can move on from this. Assuming what the company said about no dilution happening this year is true, it seems like a sensible explanation. However, I have no way of verifying one way or the other. I may try reaching out to the CEO at some point also if we don't hear anything soon.
