Fires don't erupt every year. The two fires that almost consumed my home were both caused by people. The closest call was a fire set by an arsonist and the current fire began at a gender reveal party in a park about a mile away. Really! A firework-like device started it.

Why they picked a tinder dry area on a super hot day they'll have to reveal.

The rains should come in late November so we've got a couple of months to go.
