I understand the sentiment, but in the big scheme of things, negative results of pivotal trials are just as important as positive results to the audience at SNO. They got this slot because the results will be very important either way.

That said, NWBO would have had to submit to SNO by June 10 for a late breaking abstract deadline, and then send an update of the initial abstract status by Sept. 1 to get accepted. This does make me wonder whether they have at least some results in hand already to send in by Sept. 1 but just have not publicized them yet (see my earlier post). If true, the fact that they proceeded with the acquisition this week would be a VERY positive sign. Bottom line is that SNO might be a meaningful indicator of success or it might not.

None of that is to say I think the results WILL be negative!
