97%+ chance it won't be, regardless of the science behind it. That's just the odds in this industry. But the ones that do receive wide adoption, they go super nova. You'll be able to buy an island in the Maldives. But I wouldn't rush out and put down a down payment just yet.
If it happened, it wouldn't be standard operating procedure for them. At least with the Red and Blue teams. Coke might take a "starter position" in something with $10Mish in sales, foster it's growth, once a product proves itself with $100M in annual sales, that is when they consider buying out the whole company.
Sounds like NDTP has bigger ambitions. May have much more capital coming out of the gate than the typical start up. Medical beverages tend to be the playground of Abbott Labs, Nestle, Archer Daniels, etc.
But I hope to be pleasantly surprised.
PS - Larry Kubin was *in* 2 Super Bowls but Marcus Allen ran all over the place in the second one. Only a one-time SB champ.
